A New Life in Isla de Margarita
I wanted my first blog post from Margarita to be a thank you to the people who helped me get here. The first person I need to thank is Scott who has helped me immensely with info about the Island, ferried me around and gave me somewhere to stay whilst I find my feet... oh and also introduced me to a new network of great people some of whom I already consider to be friends. Here is a pic of Scott with Sean who is the lead singer of the band ( Fondo Blanco ) we saw on Friday 16th June for Scott's birthday. Sean is a top guy and one of the few people I can chat with about some of my more obscure tastes in Heavy Metal from my youth 😁 I wanted to thank Dave and Fran also for their help in getting my flat ready for rental. Dave helped me kick start the process by redecorating the main bedroom which I had let get into a state of disrepair (my excuse is I had to keep the rest of the pad immaculate for AirBNB 😵).
